Think of the Visual as the group’s living, breathing album cover. They are the person whose face is meant to instantly grab your attention. If a K-pop group is a magazine, the Visual is the front page.
A Visual isn’t just “cute” or “handsome” in a normal way. They usually have what fans call “ideal” facial proportions. Big eyes, a sharp jawline, or a unique feature that makes them look like a real-life anime character. It’s almost like they were designed in a lab to be aesthetically perfect.
Their job is to make you stop scrolling. You see a thumbnail, a teaser image, or a music video thumbnail, and their face is what makes you click ‘play.’ That is their superpower.
