Bali Weather in December
Now, I know what you're thinking: "December is the start of the wet season, right?" Well, yes and no. While it's true that December marks the beginning of the wet season in Bali, it's not exactly torrential downpours all day, every day. In fact, the rain showers are usually short and sweet, followed by plenty of sunshine.
The rains in December are more like a refreshing drink for the island, keeping everything lush and green. And, let's be real, a little rain never hurt anyone – it's actually quite romantic. Just imagine strolling through the rice fields, hand in hand, under a sunny sky with a few fluffy white clouds.
But, if you're worried about the rain, don't be. The weather in December is still relatively dry, with an average of 90 mm (3.5 in) of rainfall throughout the month. That's about the same amount of rain as a typical summer month in London – not exactly monsoon season!
