Is Orpington a Nice Place to Live
Orpington’s wildlife is a mix of urban survivors. You’ll see foxes strutting down the pavement at dusk like they own the place—because honestly, they probably pay less council tax than you.
Then there are the pigeons. They’ve learned to use the pedestrian crossing. I’m not joking. I once saw a pigeon wait for the green man, peck at a dropped chip, and then fly off with a look of smug victory. It’s that kind of neighbourhood.
And don’t get me started on the park. Priory Gardens is lovely, unless you step in the dog poo that everyone claims their dog “never does.” It’s a minefield, but also where you’ll see toddlers chasing bubbles and dads grilling sausages with too much confidence.
