Gas Giant Planets
These planets are HUGE - we're talking hundreds of thousands of kilometers in diameter. To put that in perspective, Jupiter is so massive that it could swallow all the other planets in our solar system whole, and still have room for dessert. The sheer scale of these planets is just jaw-dropping, and it's hard to wrap your head around it.
The atmospheres of these planets are pretty alien too, composed mostly of hydrogen and helium gases. They're also home to some pretty extreme weather, with winds that can reach up to 644 kilometers per hour - that's much faster than any hurricane on Earth. The weather on these planets is so wild that it'll make your wildest storm-chasing dreams look tame.
