Cheapest Way to Remove Fluoride from Water
Most pitcher filters (like Brita or PUR) are not designed for fluoride. They remove chlorine and taste, not the hard stuff. Check the packaging: if it doesn’t say “fluoride reduction,” it’s just fancy tap water.
One exception is ZeroWater pitcher filters—they remove everything, including fluoride. But the filters are pricey ($10–$15 each) and need replacing often. Not the cheapest, but a decent middle ground if you’re not broke yet.
