How to Unlock a Samsung Phone That Is Locked
Your brain is a wonderful thing, but sometimes it decides to store your grocery list over your lock screen pattern. If you’ve tried your birthday, your pet’s name, and that one shape you swear you used, stop guessing.
After five wrong attempts, your Samsung will politely ask if you forgot your pattern. Tap that button. This is your golden ticket.
You’ll be asked to log in with your Google account or Samsung account. Use the email and password you set up when you first got the phone. It’s a little like calling your own front door to let you in.
What If You Don’t Remember Your Google Password?
We’ve all done that, too. You might need to reset your Google password from a computer or another device first. It’s annoying, but it’s way less annoying than a bricked phone.
Once you’ve reset the password, go back to your phone and try the “Forgot pattern” option again. You’ll be back in before your coffee gets cold.
