Because this is Windsor, and everything here has a royal shadow. This church is the official church of the Royal Borough, and it’s been hosting kings, queens, and knights for centuries.

You’ll find plaques and tombs for people with titles longer than a grocery list. Sir This-and-That from 1642, Lady Whosit who died of “melancholy” in 1710. It’s like a celebrity wall of fame, but everyone is dead and wearing armour.

And get this: the church even has a special Royal Pew where the Queen used to sit. She probably didn’t spill tea on the hymn books. But you can sit there and pretend you’re royalty for a photo. Don’t worry—they won’t send the guards after you. Probably.
