Biddulph Grange Country Park Grange Road Biddulph Stoke-on-Trent
Parking is £2 or £3 for the day—cheap for the chaos you get. The main path is gravel and easy enough for a pram or a mobility scooter, but the best bits (the grotto, the spiral) are pure mud and roots. So wear boots. Or wellies. Don’t wear white trainers unless you enjoy the feeling of regret.
There’s a small café near the entrance that does a decent bacon sarnie and a cup of tea that tastes like it was brewed in a welly boot. In a good way. Rustic, you know? Also, the toilets are clean, which in the wild west of Staffordshire country parks is a major win.
