You can run Linux inside another OS. Boot it from a USB stick. Run it on a Raspberry Pi the size of a credit card. It runs everywhere. Hospitals, stock exchanges, and that one weird server in your uncle’s basement.
Even the International Space Station uses Linux. Astronauts need a reliable system. They picked a penguin. If it’s good enough for zero gravity, it’s good enough for your laptop.
