What Celebrities Are at Wimbledon Today
First up, you know David Beckham is lurking somewhere. He’s basically furniture at this point—handsome, expensive furniture that somehow ages in reverse. He’s been spotted with his son Romeo, looking like they both stepped out of a cologne ad.
Don’t even get me started on Kate Middleton. She’s the Queen of the tennis courts, even when she’s just sipping water. She’s been there, smiling politely, probably mentally planning a garden party while watching a tiebreak. It’s exhausting just watching her be that poised.
And oh, look, there’s Tom Hiddleston. He’s waving at the crowd like he’s the prince of a small, very charming country. Is he actually here to watch tennis, or just to make the rest of us feel underdressed? Rhetorical question.
The “I’m Just Here for the Strawberries” Crew
Speaking of underdressed, Sienna Miller is here, looking effortlessly cool in some linen thing that probably costs more than my rent. She’s chatting with a friend, pretending to follow the score. We all know she’s here for the Pimm’s.
Stanley Tucci is another one. He’s in the stands, probably judging the players’ form while dreaming up a new cocktail recipe. That man’s face is a national treasure, and he’s wearing a hat that says, “I know good wine.”
You’ll also spot Clive Owen doing his broody, movie-star thing from the back of a box. He’s not smiling. He’s concentrating. On what? The universe? Or just whether Novak Djokovic’s grunt is louder than last year?
