Is B and Q Open Boxing Day
Instead of hunting for a ten-pound hammer, try something radical. Do nothing.
Watch a terrible movie. Read a book. Nap in the middle of the afternoon like a cat. That’s the true spirit of Boxing Day.
Save the trip for December 27th. The stores will be open. The post-Christmas crowds will have thinned. You can buy your screws in peace.
Remember This For Next Year
Learn from this chaos. Buy a spare bulb before the big day. Stock up on glue and tape.
Create a “Boxing Day Emergency Kit” in a bucket. Fill it with zip ties, a screwdriver, and a prayer. You’ll thank yourself later.
And if you still forget? Well, there’s always the second-hand shops. You can borrow a tool from a neighbor. Just don’t ask for it back until January.
So, is B&Q open on Boxing Day? Absolutely not. And that is completely okay.
Go eat another chocolate. You’ve earned it. Your broken shelf can wait until tomorrow. The world keeps spinning, even without a fresh can of paint.
Happy Boxing Day. Now put down the spirit level.
