Sonoma State Campus Map
Look for Copeland Creek and the little lake on the map. It looks serene, right? Wrong. That lake is a hangout for geese. Geese are fearless. They will hiss at you if you walk too close with a sandwich. The map should have a warning label: “Proceed with caution. Geese have no chill.”
Also, the creek floods. After a heavy rain, parts of the path become a mini-swimming pool. The map doesn’t show that. You learn it by getting wet socks. It’s a rite of passage.
The Roundabout of Confusion
See that big circle near the center? It’s called the Roundabout. It looks simple. It is not. New students get stuck here, spinning around like confused moths. The map shows a nice, clean circle. Reality is pure chaos. Peak confusion time: 10 AM. Just follow the herd. You’ll survive.
But here’s the fun part. The Roundabout is also where the weekly farmers market sets up. Suddenly, that confusing circle becomes the best place on Earth. You can buy kettle corn and fresh strawberries. The map? It just shows a circle. It doesn’t tell you about the secret food haven.
