Let’s zoom through a few more favorites: Dean Butler (Almanzo) became a successful documentary filmmaker. He even produced a series about the real history of the Ingalls family. Brains AND brawn!

Dabbs Greer (Reverend Alden) lived to be 90 and taught us that a kind preacher never really retires. He passed in 2007, but his gentle voice still echoes in our memories.

And Jonathan Gilbert (Willie Oleson—the little brother who couldn’t catch a break)? He left acting to become a finance bro on Wall Street. Seriously. Imagine Willie in a suit and tie, making millions. He probably still steals cookies from the kitchen.
