Gracemount Leisure Centre 22 Gracemount Dr Edinburgh Eh16 6Rn
Right, so it’s on Gracemount Drive. That’s a bit of a mouthful, but it’s actually super easy to get to. Plenty of buses stop nearby. And parking? Plentiful. No circling the block like a desperate vulture. Just pull up, park, and go.
I love that it’s a community hub. You’ll see parents with toddlers in the soft play area (yes, there’s a soft play area—genius). You’ll see older couples having a gentle swim. It’s real life, happening in real time.

And the price? It won’t break the bank. Edinburgh Leisure keeps it affordable. You can pay as you go or get a membership. Either way, you’re not selling a kidney. Win.
The Little Things: Sauna and Smoothies
After a workout, you can hit the sauna. It’s small but mighty. You’ll sit there, steam rising, feeling all your stress melt away. It’s basically a hug from a hot wooden box. Highly recommended.
They also have a little café area. Nothing fancy—just vending machines and a few snacks. But sometimes a crappy chocolate bar tastes way better after you’ve earned it with a workout. It’s science, I think.
Oh, and the lockers have those wristband things. You tap and go. Very fancy for a local leisure centre. Makes you feel like you’re in a spy movie. Except you’re just looking for your towel.
