Lasagna for Freezer Recipe
Okay, it’s that day. You’re tired. Maybe it’s raining. You open the freezer, and there it is—your past self being a hero. Cheers to that person.
You have two options: bake from frozen or thaw first. If you’re impatient (me), bake it frozen at 375°F for about 60 minutes, or until bubbling and hot in the center. Cover it with foil for the first 40 minutes so the top doesn’t burn, then uncover for the last 20 to get that bubbly cheese crust.
If you thawed it in the fridge overnight, it’ll only need 30-40 minutes. Either way, let it rest for 10 minutes after baking. Otherwise, you’ll serve lasagna soup. I’ve done it. It’s tragic.
Slice it up. Watch the steam rise. Realize you are a genius. Future you just high-fived present you.
