Extreme Heat Forces Jeremy Clarkson to Close Pub Butcher Shop
The problem, you see, is that Jeremy’s butcher shop is basically a shipping container. A stylish one, sure, but a metal box nonetheless. When the British heatwave hit, that box turned into a mobile sauna for meat. Not ideal.
As Clarkson himself put it on Twitter (or X, or whatever we’re calling it now), “Our butcher’s shop is a shipping container and it got up to 30 degrees inside. So we had to close it. Send food.” The man is selling £15 steaks, not sun-dried tomatoes. Health inspectors don’t love sweating carcasses.
