Hair Dye in Purple Box
You rinse. You shampoo. You condition. You wrap your head in a towel like a master of suspense. And then… you unwrap. You peer into the mirror with one eye closed, ready to laugh or cry.
And it’s… different. Maybe it’s a gorgeous shade of chestnut. Maybe it’s a little more orange than the model on the box. Maybe it’s exactly what you wanted, and you feel like a million bucks. Either way, you did it. You and that purple box.
The aftermath
You walk outside. The sun hits your hair. You catch your reflection in a car window and do a double take. “Who is that fancy person?” you think. It’s you. You did that.
Your friend will say, “Did you do something different?” You’ll smile. You’ll be casual. “Oh, just a little touch-up.” But inside you’re screaming, “YES. I CONQUERED THE PURPLE BOX.”
Then, in about two weeks, your roots will show. Or the color will fade to a weird copper. And you’ll be back in the aisle. Your hand will hover. You’ll see that big, beautiful, purple box. And you’ll think, “Well… maybe just one more time.”
Because that’s the thing about the hair dye in the purple box. It’s not just hair color. It’s a little dare. A little joy. A little “yeah, I can handle some ammonia.” And honestly? I’m here for it. Every. Purple. Box. Time.
