Most Expensive Shoes in the World
Some shoes are so expensive you could easily swap them for a supercar. Take the “Tommy Hilfiger Diamond Baseball Shoe” from 2004, priced at $200,000. It’s a men’s baseball shoe encrusted with 120 carats of diamonds, rubies, and sapphires. It was made for a charity auction, and the lucky winner basically bought a sparkly brick you can’t wear to the gym.
Then there’s the “Stuart Weitzman Rita Hayworth Heel”, named after the actress, valued at $3 million. Why so much? It’s covered in 4-carat diamonds and features a 10-carat sapphire. The heel alone is worth more than your college education. Rumor has it they were made for a movie premiere, but nobody wore them because, well, a $3 million shoe is basically a museum piece with a heel.
My personal favorite is the “Cinderella Slippers” by Stuart Weitzman. These are made of platinum and encrusted with 565 diamonds, worth a cool $2 million. The joke is that they were made to fit one specific foot—so if you buy them, you better hope you’re Cinderella yourself. Or you could just leave them on a pumpkin and wait for a prince to show up.
