Do Students Get Free Eye Tests
著者: 伊藤 翔太
You’ve probably seen those online vision tests where you squint at a letter “E” on your phone. Those are fun for a quick check, but they can’t replace the real deal. Still, they’re a sign that eye care is becoming more accessible. It’s like having a workout app vs. a personal trainer—both help, but one is way more thorough.
Some schools are even using portable eye exam machines that roll into the cafeteria for a day. Kids get checked, and prescriptions are sent home—for free. That’s like a food truck, but for your eyeballs.
What if you’re a parent or a student reading this?
First, ask your school about their vision program. Many will send a form home. If they don’t, call the nurse’s office—they’re usually the gatekeepers of this info. It’s like finding out a secret menu item at your favorite diner; you just have to ask.
Second, look into nonprofits like Vision To Learn or OneSight. They partner with schools to provide free exams and glasses to kids who need them. It’s like a superhero team, but for your vision.
