First World War 2 Coin Value
My neighbor, a friendly older guy named Bob, inherited a cigar box full of old coins from his uncle. He thought it was junk. We went through it together, and right at the bottom was a 1915 British sovereign, a gold coin that had been turned into a pendant. Bob didn’t know it was real gold. He’d been using it as a keychain for years! It was worth about $400 in gold alone.
He now checks every single coin before he spends it. He even checks parking meter change. And you know what? Last month, he found a 1918 Indian Head penny in his pocket. He didn’t make a fortune, but he got a huge smile and a story to tell at dinner.
