Internal Temperature of Chicken Breast Boneless
The most common question I get is: “But what if it’s still a little pink on the inside?” Color is not a reliable safety indicator. Only temperature is.
A chicken breast can be slightly pink near the bone (or even in the center, depending on the bird’s age and diet) and still be perfectly safe at 165°F. Conversely, it can look totally white and be a dry, dangerous desert.
So please, for the love of all that is flavorful, buy a thermometer. They cost less than a bag of groceries. Use it every single time. Your future self—the one not chewing sawdust—will be eternally grateful.
