What Day of the Week Is Labor Day
Here’s the beautiful truth: Labor Day is a gift. It’s a tiny, built-in pause button in the chaos of life. No matter how crazy your job gets, no matter how many emails pile up, you get a Monday that says, “Stop. Relax. You earned this.” And it comes every single year, like a loyal friend who shows up with chips and dip.
So, next time the first Monday of September rolls around, look at your calendar and smile. Wave goodbye to summer with a piece of greasy pie in your hand. Thank the workers of the past who fought for that day off. And then do absolutely nothing productive. You have my permission.
Remember: Life is short, work is long, but Labor Day is the universe’s way of saying, “You matter, now eat another burger.” Go enjoy it.
