Los Angeles Football History
The 1950s and '60s were the glory days of LA football, with the Rams and Los Angeles Chargers (yes, they were here first, then left, and now they're back – it's a long story, don't ask) dominating the league. It was an era of legendary players, like Elroy Hirsch and Lance Alworth, who could run, pass, and look fabulous while doing it. And who could forget the iconic LA Memorial Coliseum, which hosted some of the most epic games in football history?
But, as with all good things, the magic eventually wore off, and the teams began to, well, stink. The Rams moved to St. Louis (don't worry, they're back now), and the Chargers... well, they just kept on Charging (get it?) from city to city, leaving a trail of broken hearts and disappointed fans in their wake. It was a dark time for LA football, but hey, at least the tacos were still great.

And then, in 2017, the Chargers came back to join the party, because who doesn't love a good underdog story?
