Check the tide chart online. Go about an hour before high tide. The organ is loudest then.
Sunset is also magic. The sky turns pink and orange, and the organ plays a slow, sad lullaby.
What to bring (seriously)
Layer up. Even in July, that wind can make your teeth chatter. A thermos of tea helps.
Maybe a small notebook. The sound is so strange you might want to write down how it makes you feel. Or just draw a squiggly line.
No flash photography. The organ deserves focus. Put your phone in airplane mode.
