The Thursday Murders Club Movie Location
The outdoor scenes were filmed at Penshurst Place, a historic stately home with a garden maze that’s basically a metaphor for the plot. I walked through it and got lost for twenty minutes. I didn’t even find a body, but I did find a bench with a plaque that said “Rest your weary bones.” It’s that kind of place.
The pond, where the first victim is found, is actually a man-made lake. On the day I visited, a duck was swimming in circles, looking suspicious. I’m not saying it’s an accomplice, but I’m not not saying it. The location crew did a fantastic job making the whole estate feel lived-in, like a cozy crime scene you’d actually want to visit.
The Pub Nearby: Where the Cast Ate Their Lunch

One of them ordered fish and chips five days in a row.” That’s real dedication to the role—or just a love of battered cod. The pub’s menu even has a “Murder & Malt” special. Coincidence? I think not.
