Primary Religion in Japan
Japan’s primary religion is a beautiful, chaotic mashup. You can be a Shinto-ist, a Buddhist, a bit of a Confucian, and even a fan of folk magic. It’s all good.
So next time you see a torii gate (the red arches at shrines), wave hello to Amaterasu. Then go find a Buddhist temple and pay respect to Buddha. Then have a beer. The gods don’t mind. They’re cool with it.
